The first Trips Festival was organized by Ken Kesey and The Merry Prranksters in January, 1966 in San Francisco, California. This event reverberated around the world and led to other counter culture events labeled "Trips Festivals".
This beautiful poster measures 14 1/2" x 20 1/4" and was created for the “Seattle Trips Festival” and featured performances by The Byrds and Jefferson Airplane.
The poster was created by the well known Canadian concert poster artist, Bob Masse, who boldly signed the poster in silver ink.
The poster is printed on ultra thin paper and it measures 14 13 /32” x 20 10/32” and has been preserved in Museum Quality condition.
The paper is super clean with no nicks, cuts, tears, or pinholes. The colors are as rich and bright as the day it was created. The lettering is as psychedleic as it comes!
